VR demands realism. The experience is so close to real life, that the player autamatically expects real world behaviour from all elements including audio. I can create a high-end audio environment within any budget. Audio is very cheap compared to grafics. But it can make a big difference.
If the VR app sounds bad, it feels weird, unpleasant and low budget.
Duchampiana VR consists of one inside and one outside scenario. This gives me the opportunity to create detailed early reflection and reverb zones, so the player gets a very realistic feedback from his environment. The task: Make the player forget about the headset to fully arrive within the artpiece.
